Last night was our Fall Fellowship. Our church planned a little get together and it went off better than we could have hoped. We had so many members show up and visitors too. It was held outside and I think that really encouraged everyone to hang out and visit and also people watch. There were carnival games for the kids and even a "Dunk the Preacher" dunking tank. I love that our preachers have a good sense of humor and let themselves be dunked so many times last night. Somehow I don't see those mega church preachers doing anything like that!
There were some seriously cute costumes last night but of course, but the two cutest were my boys - Wolfe and his little brother turtle:
I especially love Cooper's pose in this one and Marshall's smile could not be bigger. They were so happy to to finally get to put on their costumes last night since I finished them around noon that same day. For some reason I kept putting off getting the fabric thinking that it was too early to start making their costumes but then I realized this event was a week away last week and had to get sewing. Marshall's took the longest to do so I started with his and I have never used so much velcro in any sewing project. So next year I will start on October 1st!
Good little wolf, don't bite little wolf!
Marshall showing these kids the way that turtles walk.
So we still have trick or treating coming up next week and I have two costumes to wash and mend before the big night. I better get started now!
